IHP is ending resin kit production after 28 years.

We have one resin ship kit still in production for the moment: BB49 South Dakota (it's our signature ship kit). However, it will only last as long as the current moulds last. It's available from the IHP website and our dealers.

All other kits are discontinued and we are cleaning out our casting shop and disposing of moulds and patterns.

You may be able to find remaining stock at your dealers, but you'll have to do the hunting yourself. We don't keep track of where they all go.

The next 1/700 ship kit from IHP will be injection moulded: HMS Triumph 1947 fit, with appropriate aircraft and alternate parts for the enclosed bridge and other features. We're looking at a Spring/Summer release.

Thanks to all who supported IHP's kits since 1993. We're officially a predominantly mass-market kit manufacturer now and we're excited about it!

Mike,

Thank you for all of the great kits over the years. Just picked up your Colossus and very much looking forward to what else the future brings.

Best regards,
Matt

LAST CALL!

Time to end an era here at IHP. At the end of this month, the last IHP 1/700 resin ship kits will be discontinued permanently.

We're giving y'all one last chance to get our signature resin ship kit, the South Dakota BB49. This was our first kit in 1993, and now appropriately it's our last.

We still have some Jeanne D'Arc kits left, too. After this, IHP will be finished producing 1/700 resin ship kits.

Thanks! I have some other ideas for British carrier plastic kits, but not these; there are plans for these from other makers. I want to do subjects that no one else is going to do. Like CVA-01

Yeah, I'd say my plans are far more important to me than anyone else's.... :thumbs_up_1:

But nothing else is definite. Gotta close up the casting shop and make more Colossus kits first!

Who has said that they plan to produce early war RN carriers?

Last Call for 1/700 South Dakota and Jeanne D'Arc Kits from IHP. At the end of this month, they will be removed from production. This is your last chance to get them!

We want to make sure anyone who still wants one has a chance to get them; we don't want anyone coming to us in May and asking if they can still get them. You will not be able to, and we will not respond to your inquiry! We are moving on from resin ships for good after that time.

Order now from the IHP website. Worldwide shipping is available if you contact us for shipping to your country.

These are the last few days to order the remaining resin 1/700 ship kits still offered by IHP. Next week, we will cease producing resin ship kits after 28 years.

The resin range will NOT be produced in plastic, so if anyone was wondering if they could wait and get them in plastic later, the answer is No, you will not.

Follow the links in the earlier part of the thread. We want to make sure anyone who still wants them has a chance to get them.

Thanks,

Mike Bartel
