Hello,
A new range of 1/350 naval aircraft is under preparation at Black Cat Models. The level of detail is probably the best one ever seen. Aircraft is printed in one piece, only propeller is a separate part. Comes with open or closed canopy, pilot (seated or standing) and a complement of accessories (bombs, rockets, drop tank).
Having a real canopy is very easy with Micro Kristal Klear.
Please note that photos are of actual kit, not CAD renders !
First model available will be the famous F6F Hellcat, all WWII USN naval aircraft will be released soon.

And many, many, more things are scheduled for the next weeks at Black Cat Models!

Those look terrific! I'll be needing some F4Fs, SBDs and TBDs for this summer's project.

Hello,
Yes, all these planes are scheduled in the weeks to come. Release dates will probably be the following:
1- F6F Hellcat, TBM Avenger, SB2C Helldiver
2- F4F Wildcat, SBD Dauntless, TBD Devastator
More are considered,

I would think Curtiss SOCs and Vought OS2Us would appeal to many of us

I've been trying to put the bug in Ben's ear to make some 1/350 Northrop BTs, for those of us who'd like to do Yorktown in all her pre-war glory

1/350 P-40Es for AV-3 Langley would be nice too!

Hello,
A Northrop BT-1 is appealing, the only problem at the moment is the lack of good information on the plane, so...

I’ll second the BT-1. Contact me if you need plans and info, have plenty. If you’re taking requests then how about some Vought O2Us and O3U/SUs so we could depict the two USMC squadrons that served aboard Lex and Sara, not to mention with practically every USN scouting squadron.

I had a Chief of Staff that liked to say "And people in Hell want ice water" when he was asked for something difficult. This probably fits that category: for those of us laboring to build a detailed and accurate HORNET from April 1942, perhaps a 1/350 B-25B. Can you imagine how a model B-25B with the detail of the F-6F shown would look and enhance the model ship". I know Trump makes decent B-25s, but a lot of work is required to hollow them out to put in a crew.
Black Cat, I know firsthand your work and details, or I wouldn't suggest this. Please consider.
John
