Hi All,
I am happy that we have started new Yamato detail up set from last month.
This set will include over 195 Barrels including from 460mm main gun to 25mm AA.
The other scribed brass parts have been being under designed as Tripod Mast rig set, boom, staffs and so on.

We've already designed and released wooden deck set on the market.
http://pontosmodel.com/html/35029wd1.html
This detail up set will include this one piece wooden deck(near 48cm long).

PE parts will include rails, radar, antenna and other effective areas.
You can use some PE parts included in Tamiya original kit but we may modify and add some more details than Original PE.

Other materials are Dry transfer for frame damage notifying markings and gold plate metal sticker for ship name and Kiku(chrysanthemum) Crest of Imperial Japan.

The estimated retail price will be about 120USD.
The final price can be changed with addtional materials and actual PE size.

The estimated released date will be 9th January 2012 though based on the researching time or additional modification the date will be shorter or longer a few days.

Thank you
Keumho Kim

Hello Mr Kim.
Looking over the Warspite set you manufacture I will be very interested in your set for the new Tamiya Yamato. I have already bought it and it is way with the three detail sets from Tamiya. Maybe you could make a set that includes items not already covered by the Tamiya sets. That would save having two sets of 460mm barrels for instance.
Keep up the excellent work.
Regards
Warren :thumbs_up_1:

wow, nearly 200 barrels, tons of pe, and a killer deck, all for under $150? I believe the Yamato 1/350 market is yours...

Yep we will cover almost parts included in Tamiya Opset sets.
But for 0.1mm copper rails I would not try this as Tamiya so we will realize rail as general PE rail type.
And our 460mm barrels will not include shells as Tamiya. But our 460mm shape maybe different with Tamiya 460mm. Especially I would try to realize 3 cramping rings for test instruments as PE not scribing on barrels as other makers (inicluding Tamiya). Now we are studying and researching how our scribed brass parts can be much effective to modellers than before.

Anytime advice us for better effect.

Thank you
Kim

Dont mean to hijack the thread. Mr Kim when you do the Bismarck set will it include blast bags for the 15" and 4.1" guns? i cant beleive that almost all photo's of the ship show them fitted but no one has ever produced them.

Amazing. Congratulations -all your sets so far are setting new standards for aftermarket accessories.

On a more practical vein, is the january 31st release date still valid? And, equally importantly, can the set be pre-ordered?

Best regards
Anthony
