What does Peter Hall do with those spare moments in his design days? Well, we don't call him Mad Pete for nothing! You see, his devious mind is always working to drive the rest of the modelling community as mad as he is. The proof is in the pudding, and here are:

Image

PE 7101, 1/700 scale battleship anchor chain. As requested by some modellers who are quite as mad as Mad Pete, these are individual links to be assembled into correct stud-link anchor chain. Priced at £4.95 including VAT and not for the faint of heart, PE 7101 will be ready in 3 - 4 weeks.

PE 7102, 1/700 and 1/350 Cage Aerial Spacers. Again, not for the faint-hearted, these will allow the modeller to assemble those spidery WW1-era shipboard wireless aerials, a la Jim Baumann and David Griffith. The large ones are 3 millimeters across and the smallest are 1.5 miilimeters across. There are two types of circular spacers, 4 strand and 6 strand. All types come in 4 sizes 3mm 2.5mm 2mm and 1.5mm That should cover most exventualities. You need these for your dreadnoughts and battlecruisers! Price is £4.95 including VAT, and these will be ready in 3 - 4 weeks.

Image

PE 35159, 1/350 Oars for Ships' Boats. Slightly more mundane than the other two sets, but no less useful, are these oars in three different sizes to fit out the boats on your 1/350 scale ships. Price is £4.95 including VAT, and these will be ready in 3 - 4 weeks.

You can pre-order any or all of these now, with no charge made until we are ready to ship your order.

Fantastic news! I really like the arial spacers. Any chance for 1/700 oars set?

Thanks,

Well, he probably won't be that quick in every case, but Mad Pete just sent me the image for the 1/700 oars set. They will be PE 7103, and I'll be able to announce the price shortly.

Hi Nick,

Some time in the next 2 - 3 weeks, I think.
