Here's pics from Vancouver's Fall Show in Burnaby, British Columbia today. I had a great time seeing all the kits there, even if my own entry, a Dodo models 1/700 Peacock class corvette in Philippine Navy colours, didn't win in any category.

The theme of this year's show was "Southeast Asia", although most entries seemed to cover a variety of other eras/topics.

There was actually a good turnout, as one can see from a pic of Bonsor complex's main hall in the very last picture at the bottom of the post.

1/350 Trumpeter Repulse

All the entries in the 601/Out-of-the-box nautical category, including my Peacock class corvette.

All the entries in the submarine category:

Nautical diorama category entry:

1/720 Revell HMCS Cayuga, Korean War-era.

1/350 Combrig HMS Kent, late 19th century/early 20th century British armoured cruiser.

Plus a sampling of pics of the models in the other categories:

I really liked these two 1/35 Canadian Army Leopard C2 tank builds, presumably from the Takom kits.

I spy some of Roger Torgeson's work in there. Great pics, thanks for sharing.

I forgot to add a pic from another category that featured ship models that used more PE and aftermarket parts.
