All ship builders (and other modelers) are invited to attend New Jersey IPMS's Mosquitocon 31 Model Contest & Flea Market on Saturday April 1, 2023.

Adult Registration - $20
Junior registration (under 16 years old) - $5
Adult Walk-In - $10
Kids Under 16 - $5
Kids Under 12 - free
Active Members of the Military - Free!

(Please - No Bills larger than $50)

The theme covers entries in all the military categories.

An important note is to make sure the entrant checks any of the appropriate boxes on your Entry Form – if the boxe(s) are not checked, it’s not judged for Show Theme and the unique Special Categories at Mosquitocon – “The Falklands War”, Best New Jersey Subject, “Best Vietnam War” Subject and “Tailhook" (US Navy Carrier-based Aircraft, only).

Why come to Mosquitocon, you ask?

Well, here's just a few reasons:

It's the largest annual model hobby event in Jersey, and one of largest on the east coast.

Attendees state that it's the most fun model show they have ever been to.

NJIPMS's show staff (basically the entire membership) are seasoned professionals, with 30 annual Mosquitocon shows and 3 IPMS USA Regionals under their belts.

Mosquitocon boasts more vendors and better vendors than most IPMS USA Regional shows.

Venue lighting is superb.

Display tables are on "risers", making viewing the models much easier.

Number of models competing meets or exceeds the amount that show up at most IPMS USA Regionals

Modelers attend our show from the 4 points of the compass in America as well as from Europe, South America and Asia

We have great looking award plaques

We are "Ship Modeler Friendly"! Many of the best award-winning ship modelers in the USA agree that our show is tops and not to be missed!

Our Raffle Prizes are better than that offered at most IPMS USA Regional shows.

For the 2023 Show details, see the Mosquiotocon 31 Show Flyer on our website:

Any questions? Contact: NJIPMS President, Bill Schwarz, email: or call at 732-567-3724 (No Calls after 9PM E.T., please)

MosquitoCon is 4 weeks from today! A few things to note for those of you entering models in the contest:

1) We have revised the categories! Please check the show flyer for more details on the new numbering convention

2) We have eliminated all the out of the box awards. Moving forward, each category will have 1st, 2nd, 3rd, only. We've also eliminated the "Best Sci-Fi" Award, as Sci-Fi falls under the "Best of the Rest" special award.

3) We have added two new regular categories and re-introduced a theme award:

NEW: 107. Multi-Engine Jet Aircraft 1/48
NEW: 403. Ships, Destroyers and Escorts, All Scales
RETURNED: Best “New Jersey” Subject

Hope to see you at the show, Saturday, April 1, 2023!!
