I remember showing someone a scratch built ship with stretched sprue railings. The first thing they muttered was, "Hmm, pre Perry." Loren's products marked the beginning of a new era and I believe he revitalized ship model building, just as resin kits were starting to enter the market, too. Whether or not GMM brass was available for a particular kit often made the difference in a purchase. I hope Loren enjoys his retirement. Thanks for keeping such an iconic brand alive, Brandon.
