WHAT. I get that the 3D printed small parts look amazing and there's a war and there's import fees, but my god.

HLJ is actually cheaper at $425. Still, you have to really want it. Reminds me of the Hasegawa 1/350 resin Akitsushima, pricing-wise.

I was hoping to see one in styrene, maybe from FineMolds. Seems like it would be in their wheelhouse. But, this is all my speculation.

I wonder whats the sunk cost of designing a kit... 10000 dollars? 100000 dollars? From scratch, if you have nothing, so you need to buy all the equiment etc.

500 dollar is a joke of a price. Shipping issues are resolved, the war is between two countries and has been thus far contained (but of course can change, but this is not reflected in pricing of anything else, so why should it be on kits). So this is BS price.

That is a frikking TON of Depth Charges there (probably closer to two+ tons, given how many it carries).

I can see why U-Boats feared these.

Guys, the price of the AB&K kit is incorrect. Stop your outlandish commenting to, ridiculous.

Just contact Sergey directly. He will ship to you and that works just fine. Price is around 120 euro or so.

When the item in question isn't even on their website (https://www.abkmodels.cz/Coming-soon-c5_0_1.htm), it is unreasonable to expect buyers to personally reach out to the company to ask for the "correct pricing" and place an order for an item that isn't even there.

If the pricing on two separate stores are wrong, then clearly there needs to be some correction on the pricing but responsibility for that falls on the manufacturer, not those of us who only get information from what we're able to see.

It seems importing to Japan is simply very expensive. The other way around (shipping from) is too, for me. And these are just the prices they are asking.

I think Sergey on Facebook also told the price?

The guy who was doing the website for him is now at the front. As you say, a country at war.

Imho the price is extremely reasonable for the quality you get. Their 1/350 Kiji kit is my most prized kit Simply beautiful.
