Bravo Zulu to Nick Dogger for today's HMS Tiger. (http://www.modelshipgallery.com/gallery ... /index.htm)

I'm pretty much blown away. This has a great deal of the look of a 1/200 model - even though it's 1/700! The figures, the fine-scale railings (!!), etc are just amazing.

Very nicely done, with disregard to the scale... which is a bit confusing..

This is my 1/350 scale interpretation of the RN battle cruiser HMS Tiger as she appeared in 1918 with all her war-time additions.

Combrig has them both, so a bit in doubt at what we are looking here

It’s 1/350. Those are L’Arsenal resin crew figures

This is one of the top rate builds that we see from time to time - absolutely excellent representation of this great looking classic.

This photo looks so like we're looking at the real thing on a grey misty day!!

Fantastic work. I especially like the photos with the New Zealand.

What a magnificent model! I could not believe my eyes when I saw it today. Fantastic skill and taste. I am flattered that my humble work could serve as an inspiration for this masterpiece.

Nick's Hood was inspiration for my build and most of this builds kind of align with my building philosophy. Very good modeller.

I love his "style", a combination of precision workmanship and artistic presentation.

It was a real plesure to take photos of this model,

the is ship elegant and the build - (both kit and scratch...)

is of sublime quality!

The finesse of the deck-edge handrails using the INDIVIDUAL stanchions is inspiring stuff!!!
see image below

bravo Nick !
