Won-Hui Lee has done a great job here of depicting the final moments of the Hiryu. The bubble effect is really impressive. As he says, it's probably a bit more dramatic vis-a-vis what 'really' occurred, what with the billowing smoke and all, but overall this is super impressive!

A magnificent, professional execution of the theme. The bubbling is the key to the realism. This time, Won-Hui, you've outdone yourself!

I agree, the bubbles are astounding, as is the overall impact of this piece of work.
It could be any ship, any time, any place, any color, any circumstance--real or fictitious--and still be a dee-licious treat. :nod_2:

I have now again studies the images in more depth... ( sorry haha! );

the effects are..... really effective in every way !

(I guess )...as there is no documented underwater evidence of of this kind of vessel sinking
==> and underwater visibility would inhibit photography thereof anyhow from the distance viewed...

means Won-Hui Lee had to work out and visualise what it might have looked like
--and then worked out his methodology of creating the effect he has achieved
and I guess-- he only had one go at it- no going back...

( nerve wracking stuff if it had gone wrong !!)

( how did he do it? )

anyhow,

really most excellent and innovative in every way--above and below the surface!
