Thanks for the links. I purchased the Admiral Scheer parts in time to have the sale pricing. Now if the designers can offer their products in gray resin that would make it no longer necessary to sand-blast these otherwise excellent parts. Model Monkey does this now so maybe it will catch on.

Raphus on Shapeways released:

new masts for the Australian Anzac class frigates, 1/700, for Dodo Models kit
https://www.shapeways.com/product/V8P9TTDQZ/hmas-anzac-class-frigate-ceafar-2-l-mast-for-dodom?optionId=78221412&li=marketplace

This is the latest (2018) version of the mast, with new radar and without the old SPS-49. The masts look now similar to the one for the Hunter class.

https://www.shapeways.com/product/MAQRKA6E3/1-700-minesweeper-hms-bramble-deck?optionId=77952362&li=marketplace

These are the specific parts, there is still the hull part for the class needed. Now two versions of the Halcyon class are possible: as survey ship and as minesweeper.

Hi Rob,
from Fpmodel on Shapeways I bought the torpedo cruiser SMS Panther (early and late version) and SMS Tiger plus the torpedo gun boats SMS Trabant and SMS Satellit. All in the "Smooth Fine Plastic" quality.

I think that these are good models. I will replace the masts and probably the davits, perhaps also the 47 mm guns (if I find a better source for them).

Here some photos of the ones I bought:

Hi All.
Finally after rather a prolong inactivity I made my 1/700 HMS LIDDESDALE ( Hunt I ) available through Paper Lab's Shapeways store. You can find it here:https://www.shapeways.com/shops/paper-lab?section=1%2F700+Hunt+I&s=0

To build the entire model you need Waterline Hull, Lower Hull and Mega Sprue. Unless of course interested in Waterline only in which case you don't need Lower Hull. Mega Sprue holds all the smaller plastic parts necessary to build this model. I called it Mega because it combines all deckhouses and 3 original sprues into one set. Makes it also less expensive.

For those who don't need the entire model but would be interested in some of it's parts I still provide 3 smaller sprues and 3 major deckhouses as stand alone parts that can be order individually.

Assembly instructions are in PDF format can be downloaded form here: https://we.tl/t-x1A6YAw2TW
This link will stay live for 7 days. After that I can email it to anyone who's interested. Paper Lab website is very old and soon will be deleted while the new website is being worked on but unfortunately I have no idea how long before it's operational. Could be months...

The same for PE and decals set. Please contact me directly. Cost is $10 which includes postage worldwide.

Thank you. This might be the very first kit produced entirely with 3d technology. If not the Moon landing than the next big thing... :cool_1:

I just purchased one of these little beauties in the higher quality material using the link provided. At first I was a bit surprised at the cost. It took a minute or two to realize that it was in Canadian Dollars and included some shipping surcharge also. Once I set the shipping to the US, the total amount went way down! Really looking forward to this.

I bought and built one of these. It's a great little kit. I can't wait to see what else becomes available.

As you could probably see from my poll thread below, a british frigate HMS Diana/Seahorse from 1794 was released by me today as a full hull offering. Waterline will join tonight, while 1/200, 1/300, and 1/350 variants (and probably the 1/450 to match the new Revell Victory) are in works.

Any chance of a 1/1250 offering? I'm trying to do an 'evolution of the British battleship' theme from the age of sail through WWI, but current offerings of sailing ships of the line are slim to none. I would be very interested if it becomes available

Thank you antityco.

I've got some inquiries regarding PE doors #4 as my assembly instructions do not show their location. This is because as originally designed all the superstructures came with internal compartments and doorways between them. And #4 doors are for those internal passages. Later I decided that this is too much, especially in 1/700 scale and those internal walls were mostly removed / simplified but since PE plates were already produced it was too late to correct their layouts. In the end those doors might come handy if you ever work on some merchant vessels....:)

HMS Diana 1794 Frigate kit is finally released! I had to separate it into several models to cope with complexity - the model had around 5mln faces, and shapeways only allows 1mln.
This way you can also select different materials for different parts, as for example lower deck does not need the level of detail found on intricate steering wheel or fine decoration on the stern.

All files to her can be found in section:
