Some interesting small 3D models from Japanese twitter feeds...

First this--I'm not sure what it is:

https://twitter.com/Azrail339/status/10 ... 94048?s=20

https://twitter.com/Azrail339/status/10 ... 86176?s=20

And this looks like the IJN Mikasa:

https://twitter.com/ninja970/status/104 ... 30979?s=20

https://twitter.com/ninja970/status/104 ... 81218?s=20

https://twitter.com/ninja970/status/104 ... 83392?s=20

Enjoy!

Second link seems like a what if Japanese Design B-65 Battlecruiser or a Super Agano light cruiser.

The 1/2000 stuff from the last 3 links is sold under https://www.dameya.net/ (url spotted in the photos ;)). They have lots of different kits there - would try to order from them tonight.

That looks more like 1/700. There are even prices listed for some kits if using auto translate... Best way would be to make a twitter account, and check if you can contact the guy, he seems to be very active.

Per discussions with the account, this model is a prototype and will be available shortly through the site listed.

A new 1/700 Iwo Jima class LPH is already available from Shapeways/Bills Models, as already posted in the "Calling all Iwo Jima class LPH fans" thread

That model is only available in the cheap, unsuitable quality - likely because of the size. For sure not a good replacement for the Pit-Road kit.

The model is similar to plastic kit - consisting of a lot of different parts.

Ho-lee mother-of-god!

That Mikasa looks phenomenal for whatever scale that is (looks like it might be 1/2400).

That is far better than the white-metal miniatures I have seen in even larger scales (such as 1/1200).

I want the entire IJN Fleet in that scale.
