I am beginning to suspect that 1/350 Nelson & Rodney may never materilize now.

After all, they went for a 1/350 HMS Repulse but the 1/700 guys got a Renown.

Not interested in a 1/200 Nelson instead?

The Pit-Road 1/700 USS New York (BB-34) seems to be already available on Ebay.

Trumpeter/Pit-Road 1/700 battleship USS New York

I also previously mentioned I saw the 1/350 Hobby Boss French battleship Voltaire in local hobby stores in Vancouver at least two months ago, but the list hasn't been updated. It's also on Ebay.

He was taking pre-orders. I think the same person had pre-orders for the Dragon CVN-65 last year. The price is always higher than it will go for once released. The ebay add said he was to be release Sept 30.

OK, I'm confused. A google accident produced this page at Modelshipwrights, a site I don't follow.

https://modelshipwrights.kitmaker.net/m ... &sid=24077

And right there are Flyhawk catalog pics of Ajax and Achilles (but no J-K-L destroyers). I checked page 1 here and no apparent mention. Are we getting 1/700 Leanders? When?

The Flyhawk stuff I have on the first page are from the 2016 catalog, so the one you found is more up-to-date.

I am also taking preorders on Veryfire Louisiana. The kit has several differences from Montana, like different bridge, etc.

Fun fact, HobbyLink Japan (Beaver) is the Japanese importer for VeryFire and Kajika. So even if you buy from Hobby Search you are still getting from HobbyLink Japan.

Doesnt anybody know the differences between this release of Fujimi's 1/350 Haruna;
http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail ... 4&page=top
-OR-
https://hlj.com/product/FUJ60055

...and the releases from earlier?

HLJ says 'Shou Ichi Go Operation', but I believe the earlier boxing was for June '44. I'm trying to figure out what the difference is between this latest boxing and the one from 2008 (the one I have.)

Known release so far:
60001 First release (August 2008)
60020 2014 Summer Limited (August 2014) includes barrels for main and secondary armament
60029 Premium (July 2015) Has metal barrels, PE, masks
60045 w/ wood deck (March 2017) HLJ states different mold was used but I have no other info.

I don't mind selling my old one off if the this new release has new/corrected parts or what have you but I'm not wanting to plunk down cash if I already have the exact same kit. So does anybody have any idea whats in that new boxing (#60055) which is due in January 2018?

If you go to the Fujimi site, there's a pdf file detailing differences: http://www.fujimimokei.com/img/catalog.pdf

Looks like Fujimi is getting ready to release it's own 1/700 Yugumo class, based on that PDF.

From what I am seeing, the original Fujimi release of Haruna is the June 1944 configuration. The new release is Haruna as she appeared at Leyte Gulf. Several additional AA platforms were added and I can see that they are included in this version

I wish Fujimi could develop 1/350 All-gun ISE class or 1/350 Soryu or 1/350 Hiei. Why does Fujimi like re-molding its old kits?

Its not a new tool, it has extra parts for a late 1944/1945, the original release is an early 1944 fit.
