Perhaps this will mean that we get a 1/700 injected USS Houston will soon be in the works. Since they seem to be on this kick of making “Shooting Fish in a Barrel” subjects.

Hey Bob, you didn't see the Flyhawk posting (p 104 of this thread)? It's TWO Dorsetshire's now on the way - once again Aoshima goes head to head with the master of model makers! I'd think chances are though that the Aoshima kit will be out first.

Yes, I forgot about Flyhawk releasing one too. Guess I’ll have to get both of them! I really want a Cornwall though.

I wonder if Norfolk and Dorsetshire differed greatly by April 1942 and I also wonder how different Dorsetshire in April 1942 was to her fit in say, May 1941.

They can sink 3 birds at one time if they do a Houston. Houston at Sunda strait, Northampton at Tassafaronga and Chicago at Rennell Island. I love the looks of the Northamptons

Exactly! But stuff for the CASF County Class thread where I'm sure when the time comes there'll be brisk chat! I'd like both Norfolk and Dorsetshire May 1941 fit, if possible.

I wouldn't be surprised if Aoshima does one.

But back to Flyhawk - I wouldn't expect to see their Dorsetshire any time soon. They have a long list of kits promised from back in 2016 that haven't shown up yet!

They would have to think of a very clever way to get the short forecastle Northampton and long forecastle Houston/Chicago from the same hull mould. I don't think it can be done without some pretty nasty seams, so I think this unlikely. They'll just pick one and be done with it.

It will more than likely be the gallant Houston. I can live with that!

I really want to see the Moltke they announced. It seems like lots of other things are slipping in front of that one....

I'd take (or not) whatever they decide to produce as Houston/Cornwall/Belfast/Moltke/Koln/Emden/etc. are just wishes on our part (and Belfast has been in a catalog for a few years). I have pre-ordered a Legion and Exeter and will do the same for the Dorsetshire now that it can be.

Hi,
not sure if this helps you, but the NNT Goeben/Moltke kit will become available again soon together with Perth. I t just has to find the way from the caster to me.

Thanks for the heads up on the g-class torpedo boat. I've been hoping this would be released as a seperate item. I'm pretty excited about this.
Also I've seen pictures of the NNT Moltke/Goeben. It looks like a great kit.

Me three! After all my emails to Flyhawk they finally released this separately! Although they're so small they could have released two in the box for $20 (with PE, etc.).

Yes, it's a rebox of the Academy kit - same promo image, and they've done it before with other recent Academy releases (Titanic, Missouri).

So does anyone know what Flyhawk are realistically bringing out this year, they're of to a decent start either way!

Bismarck doesn't look too far off!?
