What are the visible differences to the 12-41 version - the radar, and the UP launchers? anything else, like some configuration they change in boats or cranes positioning or smth?

I wouldn't mind knowing that, too. I have the first PoW release and would rather build it as Denmark Straight version (much easier camo job! ) , and not buy a second one. Also, would the same AM wood deck be applicable to both versions?
:wave_1:

Unless they moved ventilators and boats, I think the deck fits fine. On this forum earlier when I asked everyone told me the only difference on PoW between May and Dec was the addition of the radar inside of the lantern on top, and the removal of UP launcherrs and install of the AA guns. So, I really cant tell, but I hope thats it. Im like you, bought the 12-41 to convert to 5-41 but now that this is out Im kinda hoping the changes are very small.

I think I will make this also, as there is still unclear about the correct colors for PoW in 8/41 and 12/41.
Regarding the wooddeck, if it has cutouts for the rear AA guns, than it won't fit, as they wheren't on the 5/41 PoW.
When the instructions are online then you can see the changes needed

Greetings Christian

I was just examining Flyhawk's PoW (12/41) and Wood Hunter's deck for same. Flyhawk has the three extra stern guntubs, but you have to open some unfinished deck holes to mount them (as Tamiya does on some kits). Wood Hunter's deck has no corresponding openings or holes for the gun tubs. So, apparently, both kit, and wood deck can be used interchangeably for either version.

This is the Chinese link to the announcement ( the actual Trumpeter website is still playing up )
http://www.trumpeter-china.com/index.ph ... d=135&l=en

It looks like it will be 1939 and the specific Battle of River Plate version that gets released !

Walrus in 1/200 scale does that mean PoW in that scale coming from Trumpeter?

No, just that they're selling the one from their 1/200 Rodney separately.

Yeah, those have all been available for several years now - see the "Release Date" notation for this set of AFV 1/350 kits on Hobby Search, for instance: https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/search?typ1_ ... ub+1%2f350

Can anyone identify what the colourful markings are on top of the main turrets? Are they flag or ensign paintings similar to how Dunquerke and Strasbourg wore French flag colors over their turrets?

HMS Dorsetshire 1/700 completed kit photos suggest the hull is "sagged."

Continuing to ring the changes on the Fubuki class destroyers, Yamashita is set to release Akebono in 1/700th.
