Very interesting injection 1/700 kit from DreamModel ,the newest destroyer from China ,which is a very capable vessel and certainly very nice looking also.
Type 055 Destroyer
Not building 1/700 anymore, but this one looks really good :thumbs_up_1:

Just wish Trumpeter will scale up this one to 1/350

This kit looks much better then their Type 052C/D kit. The later was really problematic, because all edges were rounded.

Yes, the S-Model of the Type 052C is much better. Unfortunately, there is no alternative for Type 052D yet.

How many of the Trumpeter 1/350 entries in the catalog for 2018 have been actually released?
I am saving my money for the Langley and one of the US NAVY cruisers.

.

for me is easier how many 1/350 are missing
Baltimore
Pittsburgh
Littorio
Veneto
Fiume
Gorizia
York
Cornwall
Kent
Nelson
Rodney
1942 Ranger
Scharnhorst
Gniesenau
Schleswig Holstein 1906
Tashkent 1940 / 1942

The rest is out ,Exeter is now found in several places and the 1935 Schleswig Holstein by December, there is a lot of good stuff coming from Trumpeter, can't wait for a County and the Rodney, also the Baltimore. Hope Trumpeter keeps a good pace.

I am almost sure that they will be 1/700 scale ,so far Flighthawk don't have any plastic model in 1/350 and they made about a 8 months ago, a big announcement of their first 1/350 kit ,which will be the HMS Prince of Wales.

Judging from the drawings, it is 1/700 (or smaller). The mast e.g. would be ridiculous for larger scales.

I wonder if these will be able to be built as waterline?

If they are 1/700, that is.

I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop on the MAS and PT109. Otherwise they won't need a very big box. Did you scroll down and see the MAS comes with three Maiale/Chariots? Maybe there are more coming for the boxing, like a Vosper, an S-boot, an X-craft or a Tupolev G5. They could do multiples of each boat, but who needs a dozen MAS? Oh, they do seem to me to be waterline. Except the Maiale.

Hope they release some Vospers, too, to accompany their St Nazaire Campbeltown. That will make a nice tiny dio, unless you want to make the entire port!
