It would depend on sales of Missouri

I'm willing to buy 10 to help make that happen. Lol OK, maybe not ten, but I'm in for two. I can't wait to see it released. :thumbs_up_1:

Well, I'm glad I've held off buying the Tamiya Missouri and will be buying this one. Maybe if I wish really hard at Christmas they might scale their Montana up to 1/350!

Snowman Model's 1/700 Gearing Class Destroyer kit is out. Here it is:

https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a2 ... t=4#detail

Looks like it has inadequate freeboard, and that it could use a thick waterline baseplate (this is easily fixed)--but otherwise it seems to be a very nice kit!

I would add to Mike's very welcome comments that this is a double kit; two Gearings in the box.
It's showing up on US eBay as well.

30 USD for 2 kits! Sounds like a good deal.

How much extra freeboard would you suggest...1 - 1 1/2 mm strip? That would represent 2 - 3 scale feet.

Count me in on that one, it would appear that the Counties are being given the correct superstructure config. It is going to be a costly event this.

At least they announced now to scale down some Type 23 frigate kits, therefore there could be hope for some other in 1/700.
