I am not an expert for Chinese submarines, but I am pretty sure that the photo shows the earlier Type 091/092 kit, not the new 093/094:

I checked the profiles for the coming Type 093/094 kit against my previous kits of Type 091/092, they are different in many details and the stern shape. Looks like we'll have a complete range of modern Chinese submarines indeed.

A bit of unexpected news that the Converted ( Heavy Cruiser Seydlitz Hull ) Aircraft Carrier WESER will be made in a 1/350 Scale Kit
in injected plastic ? resin ? (its as yet unknown who is the manufacturer )
The source is the Painter / Artist who does the Box artwork for Trumpeter - and is online on facebook
he is currently doing a painting of the KM Weser Carrier at sea ...

so someone has commissioned him to produce artwork for a forthcoming kit ...........

That really goofy looking WoW carrier? What an odd choice for a kit.

Although popularised by World of Warships, Weser was a project that actually existed. Seydlitz was an unfinished Hipper class before the idea to convert her into a carrier was brought forward and she was renamed; of course the ship was never finished, but it's an interesting article of naval history nevertheless.

I agree that it's an odd choice though - if true, that is. So many other ships to choose from. Weser seems to me to be too niche to warrant full production of a 1/350 scale plastic kit... a resin kit or conversion set? Maybe.

I'll stick with kitbashing for that sorta thing, thanks!

All the German aircraft carrier plans including the CA conversion, and Europa and a couple of others were all done 1/700 resin by HP Models. Don't know how hard they would be to find today but I have each of them and they are interesting models of ships that never quite got built.

I started the Weser conversion from the Heller 1/400 Prince Eugen kit some years ago. One day I may finish her...
