While my Diana/Seahorse project is done in 1/200 and 1/700, and is moving rapidly in 1/350, I cant decide which kit to make next. Two categories drew the attention last time - 74gun ship and a merchant ship. I spent days searching through plans, and have following options:

74 gun Bellerophon - the most known 74 gun ship. With several dozens of sister ships.
10-12 gun privateer brig (based on NMM's Requien plans, https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File ... tured_1795)_(alternative_spelling-_Requin)_RMG_J0053.png). A very common sight around the seas.
10-12 gun baltic merchant snaw, based on danish archive plans
Unarmed baltic brig, also danish archives
HMS Endeavour (https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.p ... =1&ns106=1)
HMS Bounty (https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.p ... =1&ns106=1)

Making a small simple ship can bring it to production much faster. Bellerophon is surely a much more complex project.

I voted for HMS Endeavour - James Cook's ship of his first great expedition!

The HMS Bellerophon would cover also most of the design work of a razée (frigate conversion) of the Arrogant class, e.g. HMS Saturn. Therefore for me Bellerophon would be also interesting. Perhaps I find even a ship of the Arrogant class, which would be also interesting (for me) as a 74-gun ship (as e.g. the French 74-gun Marengo is interesting for me, because used as flagship of a cruiser-squadron to attack trade).
