My bad. But the name of the listing is clear out of convention from the way they label the rest of the products they sell - for other kits, the the brand is clearly shown in the listing title. I'd chock it up as an error.

There are plenty of kits labelled as 3D, which are labelled as "Ostrich Hobby" as a brand by Globaltoys.

As the pictures are quite blurry, we can't say much about the quality of this CVN-65 kit.
But I will continue with modifying the 1/700 Forces of Valor diecast models. Looks better to me. And you have the full hull optional.

The CVN Enterprise kit is not a Ostrich Hobby kit!

I asked globaltoy about this and got this answer today.

From Ostrich Hobby up to now no answer.

I have no idea, why they wrote at ebay it is a Ostrich Hobby kit ?

I saw and hold in my hands an other printed 1/700 kit, which globaltoy offers at ebay , the french charles de gaule and it was not so bad. I builded years ago a HP models CdG and the printed one looks better than the HP resin kit. And HP was more expensive!

So i hope the now offered Enterprise looks similar in quality. The other choice would be a Forces of Valor 1/700 Enterprise.

Chris

Did Globaltoy wrote from whom the kit is?

Hi Christoph,

Do you know what era the Forces of Valor 1/700 scale Enterprise represents? I think it is the last configuration post 2010 when she came out of the yards for the last time.

Thanks,

Mark

Hi,

FoV claims their Enterprise to be as of 2001.
But it is mainly from 2012. I figured out at least for the island radars (see below). But it can be easily fixed for 2001.

Hope this helps.

Juergen

Radomes front and back of island were also changed to ballon shape after 2001.

I got an email this morning that the Neomega kit of the paddle tug Eppleton Hall in 1/144th scale is now shipping. As I have an obsession with paddlewheelers, I'll definitely have to get one of these.

A nice kit but no PE or decals. Still I look forward to building it.

The one in progress by Dodo Models will include PE, 3D printed parts and decals.

There are also at least three different versions of the PPA planed: light, light+, and full with different armament, so that anyway it could be interesting to built several ships. Some get also well known names from WW2 Italian light cruisers.

Wow, finally! Curious about the price but the '41 Nevada class is actually the last kit I am looking for my life-time model building goal. :thumbs_up_1:

There appears to be a 1/700 kit of the Chinese polar research ship Xuelong:

https://www.facebook.com/groups/5530937 ... 1/?__cft__[0]=AZUBw3xURPzuFxhCAGuiIc_ly5ZFK2pzjSYAUKtndiGVg0i-NMdPxDtB2YQQFqi_QP32MxkGWCa1LV_dHKOWTmZbXqLDXPU8rZkZB918jpOGW6KThT-frdOuEG1EaZHW3Q9mm3nB7PtN57U-BCUlyp3sFPItwetIaZmoj5MaShWnVg8LMX0M4TPeuXf2XWYuxMX6lQ61Ft9O_rDhG1uKqpSr1Ojnd9lRaUkJmIZWfwRdtiIagCyCkqxK2GOHU33dOaE-wsgpa0MW8AhDvK79DyKV&__tn__=%2CO%2CP-R

Here, the parts can be seen:

Is that kit available?

For the Xuelong, you can see the boxtop for it here: https://twitter.com/Black63721/status/1 ... 9804511232

Hopefully that helps you track down a place that sells it.
