I've been hoping for a 1/350 Sverdlov from Combrig for a very long time so I'm thrilled to see that it's finally going to happen. I hope they also reissue them in 1/700.

In 1/700 scale will be a new model of Sverdlov cruisers.
Will be several models of this type cruisers - 68-bis (Sverdlov), 68-a (Kutuzov), 70-E (Dzerzhinskiy), 68-U (Senyavin or Zhdanov). But it is only plans, that I heard. What will be in reality, it is still difficult to say...
In 1/350 will be only one model - Kutuzov (68-a or 68-bis)

Happy to wait for Kutuzov at 1/350 ! Please Vladimir, inform us on this website when available. Thanks !

Combrig summer releases 2017

Hey, do you guys plan to ever release as extras full hull version of your 1/700 kits? Or which of your 1/700 resin ships can one buy in full hull, because Sometimes I see renders in full hull 3D (Like the Austro-Hungarian dreadnought) but its unclear if the ships are full hull sometimes. Id love some full hull russian and british pre-dreadnoughts for example in full hull 1/700... Royal Sovereign, Renown, Hood, Mars, and Potemkin, Borodinos, Oslyaba, etc. Noone makes 1/700 full hull sadly for that period. I dont even mention Hoche in full hull, that ship in full hull is amazing.

Phil, that's a link to your Gmail inbox. We can't access that.

This thread is about new resin ship releases. If you want to discuss the merits of full hull vs. waterline, please start a new thread.

The off topic discussion was moved here: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=165690

True, Egypt got two Chinese Type 053HE frigates - not the Chinese version of the Riga class.

From me, quite famous Thames Steam Tug Simla is done with CAD, now going to prototype and cast, with plan to release her until Xmas time.
Built in 1898, she served for over 50 years, and rendered essential services in both WW1 and WW2. Just built, she saved a crew of exploded transport ship and got BoT Sea Gallantry medals for her crew. In WW1, she saved several ships. During Dunkirk evacuation she assisted over 140 vessels into Dover, and saved SS Mona's Isle, Destroyer Montrose, destroyer Jaguar, and sloop Bideford which were bombed or else badly damaged.

Short story here:

Both as built and as reconstructed 1939 would be possible.

Combrig is coming out with some great kits. Love the gunboats and small ships in 1/350th scale. I had hoped to see their Russian Gilyak and Japanese Takasago at the Nationals, but did not find them.
