Anybody else having problems gaining access to site? Using Safari and latest IOS. I am lucky if I can get in 1 out 6 attempts. If I do get in though logged in I can’t post or jump between forums. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

It's a problem that's gotten worse over the last few years - a combination of the age of the board, the lack of viable modernization alternatives, and ever-increasing spamming attempts that jam up the limited bandwidth available. There's nothing you can do on your end, other than trying later.

its a good explanation, but sad to read... I thought my problems came from anchors in scale 1:1 breaking undersea cables ;-)
So keep on trying!

Best regards from Wetzlar

It seems as the "what's new" link has been hijacked to a Greek models manufacturer, perhaps not on purpose? :cool_1:

There seems to be also a persistent problem with the security certificates. Both, my iPhone and iPad with the latest version of iOS + Safari don't allow me access anymore. On the MacBook it works, when coming from the Web-site, but not when using the notification links, they are blocked by the newer version of MacOS/Safari as native browser.

still get those 1 to 2 minute pauses on this site that I don't on other sites so it is this site's issue.

That's for sure. Not a new issue but very frequent lately.
Is it a capacity problem?

the main site does not have this issue just the forums.
most of the new members who have been joining the past 3-4 yrs are not model warship builders but spammers/scammers using their profiles to promote their spam/scam.
