I am a flight simmer as well as ship modeler and was reading a thread today about a potential new project from 1C game studios Il2 Sturmovik franchise...the head honcho wants to take the sim to the Pacific with the Battle of Midway.

In the thread he was looking for help with documentation and research for the ships involved in the battle. I immediately thought about the wealth of knowledge here at ModelWarships.com. Are there any other flight simmers here? Are any of you guys interested in helping the development team bring those ships to life? Seeing those ships rendered in vr and experiencing those air attacks is super exciting for me!

Very cool. Love to see when features/characters/vehicles/locations of games are historically accurate.
