Dear Friends,

I am posting today a few pictures of my latest 3D master in 1/1250 scale created for Neptun. The real model should be released in the near future.
The model is of USS MISSISSIPPI AG-128 after her conversion into Terrier missile test ship. It actually should represent her as of 1953 when she was conducting missile trials. Due to extensive number of modifications she undergo in the post war period it is very difficult ship to model. I would never be able to complete it all by myself. Only thanks to generous help from Arthur D. Baker III project became reality. Also many thanks to Dr. Norman Friedman for his comments.
Enjoy.

Here is a 35mm slide shot that my father took of the Mississippi in Norfolk in 1953. I have donated this image to NavSource.org.

Wow, that's pretty cool. I had forgotten about that old BB conversion. That will be a unique collectable. Why doesn't anyone do that in 700 scale?

Right you are Timothy. And if anyone out there actually does consider producing this model I would be happy assist in producing her master in 1/700 or 1/350...

WoW!

This is excellent work.

I am seeking freelancers to make me 3d models of merchant ships and cruise ships.

Must be in 3ds format (an others) and have strong config detail to run in http://www.hangsim.com Virtual Sailor. Must have proper hull, coefficients, HP, props etc.

Would you be interested in some freelance work?

Regards,
