Hello!
When I've looked on the Springsharp, I've got the following idea:
It is possible to make a 3D-model of the ship You're created with the Springsharp.

To do this I'm using free 3D software Anim8or (You can find it on http://www.anim8or.com).
It allows to make 3D models using scripts. So i've tried to write a script, where you can enter the parameters, and ship will be calculated automatically. Here is the script:
http://catfriendsbg.hit.bg/springsharp.txt

This is only the test version, to prove the concept. It generates a ship with the desired dimensions (without stern section for now) The ship's block coefficient still not calculated, so you will receive a fat ship with block coeff close to 1, but i will program it.
My idea is to develop this script more, it can be generated from additional tool, which will load springsharp data file and will generate proper script.
Of course springsharp contains data only for ship's hull and board, to make the superstructure of the ship and turrets will be need additional work (it will CAN be done with this tool)

Of course this means a lot of work, but if someone interested, i will provide alpha versions during development.

Any ideas how to make this software, or some help will be appreciated!

Have a nice evening!

Hello again!
I've updated the script, now model is more like the ship - i've implemented real hull shape with 0.523 block coefficient.
I'm still working on the quarterdeck, later will be implemented variable block coefficient.
The updated script is still here: http://catfriendsbg.hit.bg/springsharp.txt
