Hello,

in August I visited the Historic Dockyard in Portsmouth and I saw the Model of the "HMS Swiftsure" in the Royal Navy Museum :thumbs_up_1: .
Since this visit I'm looking for plans of the Swiftsure-Class or the british pre-Dreadnoughts but I cannot find any plans for scatchbuilding.

Knows anyone a address where I can buy plans from this ships?

I'm a shipmodeller from Germany and I will be very glad for informations  :wave_1:

Yours

Chrissi

No, the pre-dreadnought battleship from 1903. These two battleships (HMS Swiftsure/HMS Triumph) were launched for chile and buyed from england.

There are some side and overhead elevation drawings in one of the Burt books

they are usable for a smaller scale model--up to 1/350; ideally waterline
as no hull lines though.

send me a PM or e-mail if you want me to scan my drawings.

there is also a pretty good 1/700 resin kit of the ship from Combrig #

Hello Jim,

thank you very much for your message :wave_1:

Last year, I bought three plans for the "HMS Triumph" from the Royal Maritim Library in Greenwich. In Spring (or Summer) I want to begin to build the "HMS Triumph" in 1:96. Currently I collect plans, pictures and other material to build this interresting ship. I got the plans as the scan of the original plans. Here Pictures of the paper plans.
