Hi All, I'm looking for plans of CSS Alabama. The ship was built in 1862 as "Hull 290" by John Laird Sons Company in Birkenhead, England. I want to build a functional scale RC model. Any information to help me find the plans will be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Edwin van Doorn |

I guess that you should buy "CSS Alabama: Anatomy of a Confederate Raider" by Andrew Bowcock. It's probably the best single source of information about the Alabama. http://www.amazon.com/CSS-Alabama-Anatomy-Confederate-Raider/dp/1557500037. All the best, Kaz |

There's a second-hand copy of that book at the De Slegte in Utrecht the last time I checked. |
