Hi there,
Can anybody recommend a Photo etch kit up to A4 size, or any good producer of etch parts that can etch from an AutoCad file??

Thanks a lot.

Andreas

thank you, I send a quote to the sides, but I look for my own system. Where can I get that. The Micro mark seams to be small, thought of something larger.

Thanks for the help.

Before I moved to Hauler I had a few etch sets made by http://www.saemann-aetztechnik.de/

I changed to Hauler because they can do A5 0.1mm brass; the service and quality of Saemann is just as good.

He also sells equipment to do your own etching. If you are going to try that, know that it will take you some time before you get good results. You need a very good printer for the templates too. You will not get the same results as a commercial etcher. Because I demand results equal to commercial etch sets I decided not to try home etching. I spend so much time designing my parts that having it etched nearly perfectly is a relief.

makes a lot of sense, send the file to Hauler, wait what they come back with, I like this parts clean as possible, probably cheaper in the end too.
Cant wait to get them!! Again thanks for the info.

Between the two I tried Hauler is far cheaper and much faster while the quality is very good. What's not to like?
