I wish to make this dio an action one. This is a couple of seconds after initial impact. It needs more spray, probably with cotton. How would you suggest I do it?

Scale is 1/700, using a Dragon Benson class, and a Flyhawk type Vll Uboat. I still have a few small bits to add, especially crew figs - the size of fleas! Somewhere in the Western Approaches. This particular dio is ficticious, but inspired by the Buckley vs U66. :wave_1:

That's a great looking little dio. I would simply use rayon cotton batting to create 'spray' at the impact point. I'd then go with a small brush and some high gloss liquitex varnish and just lightly touch the outside surface of the puff with tiny dabs. It's in one of my tutorials in this section. thanks for sharing

I had second and third thoughts about this. Since the action takes place several seconds or a minute after initial impact, the crash spray should have subsided by that time. Maybe just a lot of run-off from the exposed destroyer's hull, made with cotton bits and acrylic. What's your opinion on this? :wave_1:

agreed. I'd keep any explosive whitewater small just as a touch of energy.
