I have a build going on (Cleveland class, late war) and I'm using GMM's Z USN Cruisers and Destroyers Fittings set. Even though I'm not really up to that point in the build I decided to assemble the radar and leave it in an unused empty paint jar I have. Unfortunately I'm having trouble bending the pieces to the radar correctly. I've searched online for some hints as to how it should be bent but I can't find any good helpful pictures of the real deal and other model pictures just don't seem to be much help. Anyone here have any tips that could be helpful? Maybe there's a form out there that I don't know about our someone 3D prints one (is that even possible)? Any other tips for the GMM set?

Check out this image of an unpainted 1/350 SK from Pontos: http://cfile202.uf.daum.net/image/1870A ... 5F302ECBE7

It should give you a good idea of how the bends should work.

Some more angles here: viewtopic.php?f=16&t=97425&start=20

The first link has a "403 - Forbidden" and the second has no photos of the Radar Set in question (just empty links).

I must've been loading the photos in the second link from Google's cache then.

Another (better) idea would be to simply consult Pontos' instructions, like this one: http://pontosmodel.com/manual/35004f1-page3.pdf

The first link needs a space at the end of the URL for it to load.

Hell, I'll just attach it here:

Thank you. I am going to need that reference for builds later this year (my USS Washington and USS South Dakota).
