Help! I am building a 1/350 scale battleship (Tamiya) and the middle deck piece is bowed several mm. Any suggestions on the best way to straighten it out? I have heard to submerge in boiling water, heated sand, or use a blow dryer to heat and then reform; what is the best option? This is my first time encountering the problem and do not want to ruin a key piece to my build.

Thanks

Cheers!

If the bow is not too severe, you could simply glue in place in the hull and clamp securely over-night. You could also use the hot water technique (not too hot - hot tap water would work) and gently bend, then pour on cold water to hold the shape. :wave_1:
