 Post subject: Bootstripe

I just recently completed a 1:200 Trumpeter USS Arizona.
I used vinyl graphics pinstripe tape for the bootstripe.
It was too shiny so I sprayed the bootstripe with with Testors matt spray.
The effect was perfect. Does not look like tape now.

Vinyl contains a lot of plasticisers, which will diffuse out and make such tapes shrink eventually ...
