Ok, aircraft guy needs some tips from you ship guys.

I'm attaching PE railing to my Missouri. I'm basically starting with one part and one end. Once I get one end attached, I work my way down. However, for me, CA doesn't really even seem fast enough, especially for the intial attachment that is required to keep the thing standing up so I can continue.

Any tips for this?

Thanks.

Use white glue. Much easier as it allows you to monkey with the parts for awhile.

Superglue is not always terribly super....

terminal strength is not bad--but grab is poor

Have a look in this thread

viewtopic.php?f=4&t=37612

David Griffith and I have diametrically opposite methods--but they both work

I like matt varnish for its high grab-- strength is poor--hence back up the railing attachment wit a droplet of CA to give better strength!

Good luck

You might give Gator Glue a try. Great stuff for P.E. Here is the link: www.gatorsmask.com/gatorglueorder.html
Kenny is a great guy to do business with. Great customer service.
