Hi,

I wonder if anybody can help me with a hint or idea how to make decent looking cage arials (i. e. for deadnought battleships) in 1:700. I have seen very good results in 1:350 and larger, but not in 1:700.

Thanks a lot in advance :thanks:

Paul

Hi Paul,

I have tried this a few times, but in two minds about whether it is worth carrying on with them.

Essenitially, pre-colour black a length of GMM Ultra-fines rails, then roll it round the thinnest brass rod you can find, don not glue it, but just crimp the ends, then attach to the ship.

You will find a few examples of mine in the gallery, check Hibernia and Commonwealth.

Cheers,

Rob Kernaghan
