I was looking the excellent work of Mr.Vladimir Yakubov, about the 1 st rank cruiser Vladimir Monomakh,he printed the imperial crest in Alps printer,I'm planning a build of the half sister of the Monomakh, the Dmitri Donskoi,my question, actually two questions are.
What is an Alps printer and how do you use it?
and
How is possible to replicate the imperial crest?
Image

as you can see it in this picture from Combrig, the crest is not flush with the bow and really stand out the model.
Any suggestions are welcome.
Thanks.

Hi Miguel,

Alps printer - I am not a professional in this area but did own one for a few years. It is a professional printer that would print other than plain paper copies. I used mine to print decals, tee shirt pics etc as it would print a permanent image on almost any medium.

I understand that they are no longer in production.

I gave mine away several years ago.

regards,

Art
