Rebuilding the Richard L. Page in 1/96 scale, a Brooke class ship and need detail photo's of all aspects of this ship. Navsource is good but I need more detailed photo's. I sent off for a disc with photo's on this class to a gentleman in Canada but have not heard from him. Order sent out on 1/15/19. If anyone has good photo's please let me know. Joe

Have you ever ordered from Ray Bean, and if so is this normal for the order to take this long. I hope nothing is wrong. Please send me a PM with more info on the ship plans and cost. Thanks, Joe

I recall reading Ray was experiencing serious health issues and may take some time to respond. Meanwhile you could try http://floatingdrydock.com/photos.htm; they may have a copy?

Good evening, building USS Brumby post the helo refit and was wondering, did Brumby carry SRBOC, or like the SLQ-32 ESM, was this not carried by the Garcia's?

Thanks

Mike

There was a 1:72 hull available from Christian at Christians Model Works in Gibraltar, but he shut down a couple of years ago (I have his hull for my USS Brumby).

I understand a 1:72 hull is on the production list for APS Models of Australia, I just don't know when.

Those who build such RC ship models. Do anybody actually try to make a correct displacement/engine power ratio ones?
Because all RC models I've seen are like racing motorboats and do not behave like the original ones they are modelled after?

For example shouldn't a, say 6,5kg (1/10.000.000) Yamato RC model (I do not know how heavy these models are) should had an shp value of 0,015?

Generally yes, while come modelers seem to want to turn scale models into racing boats, most of the members of my club build them to do scale speeds.
