Hey folks,

A friend of mine found a few photos of this lovely class. What a great subject to model, I'm looking for a subject to scratchbuild at the moment and I've been lookong alot at Russians. This is a nice candidate! I wonder if there are any plans out there. Anyway I know a few of you here are very partial to Russian ships so I'm sure you'll enjoy these:

Yeah, she is sooo beautiful. I wish Combrig won't ignore it as a subject.

I have been trying to get hold of Stereguschyy plans for some time in the hope of building a 1/72 scale RC model. I think that I have enough pics to work up useful plans but when I asked the design authority for the hull lines in particular received big fat zero response. If all else fails I will modify KRIVAK lines to suit. Best regards from AUS - Dave P

Airbase has top and side drawings, and some nice lower hull shots.

Because they don't have hull lines and I assumed that Skipper already has them. And they're not really plans, just usual coloured side and top views. Also, the translated posts on there seem to say that there are errors on it.

But I'll put them here anyway; they're all from this thread:

For future reference, when that Google page comes up, it'll have in bold the URL to the picture - you can copy-paste that into your address box and should be able to access the picture that way.

But here it is:

I like the Stregushchy , nice lines and a balanced profile ,It would make a superb working model say 1:100scale ?

Well as I have mentioned in Scratch build the Steregushchy is my next project . It is such a good looking vessel I hope I can do the design justice in 1:100 scale. Looks like there is a good interest base on this ship as well .

Still trying to figure out some hull sections for this ship in the absence of any line plans. I am trying to work up drawings of the KASHTAN and the main gun in the mean time. Has anyone found any useful drawings of these two weapons? Cheers David

There doesn't seem to be any useful drawings of the Kashtan but plenty of pictures.I look forward in the future to having a go scratch building the Kashtan ? I managed to get quite close to the Kashtan when aboard the Chabanenko .
