I am working on a resin 1/700 USS montana craftsman kit from IHP. I am wanting to upgrade it to a possible 1944-45 layout based off of the Iowa Class. But I am needing (or wanting) to cut/drill/grind into the deck to make indention or tubs for the 40mm bofors in the stern of the ship like how it is on the Iowa. What is the best process on doing so?
