Would be good to build a comprehensive response across all manufacturers that could be posted in the FAQ section. So I've started that here.

It depends on your country and method of purchase.

Generally, I think I would tend to go to back to the hobby shop where the kit was purchased, or, if kit is from a third party online purchase, to your country's distributor for that line of kits. Your local hobbyshop should also be able to put you in touch with the importer/distributor.

In the US:

Trumpeter
Stevens International, 706 North White Horse Pike, P.O. Box 126, Magnolia, NJ, 08049
Email address: info@stevenshobby.com.
Web address: http://www2.stevenshobby.com:5641/si/index.htm

Hasegaswa:
Great Planes Model Distributors, P.O. Box 9021; Champaign, IL 61826-9021
Email address: productsupport@hobbico.com.
http://www.hasegawausa.com/techsupport.html
The one time I used their customer service, I had great response.

Dragon Models:
Dragon Models USA, Inc., 1315 John Reed Court, City of Industry, CA 91745
Email address: sales@dragonmodelsusa.com
http://www.dragonmodelsusa.com/dmlusa/p ... d=DRW50377

They also import Cyber Hobby, Fujimi, Bronco and Finemolds naval kits, and so would be the contact for missing parts for them as well.

Revell/Monogram and Revell Germany as distrubuted in the US:
Revell, Inc., 1850 Howard St. Unit A, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007
Phone: 1-800-833-3570
Email: cservice@revell.com
http://www.revell.com/support/parts.html

I've had great experience with staff at Hobby Link Japan assisting with missing/defective parts with some of the smaller manufacterers they sell.

Curious as to who, if anyone, is the official US importer/distributor of Pit Road. I know they are sharing molds with Trumpeter in some cases, so maybe Trumpeter is the de-facto distributor?

With Trumpeter, you *MUST* go through either your country's distributor or your LHS.

Based on Sean's information, you could have tried looking for yourself Alec...

It took me all of 10 seconds by typing 'trumpeter uk distributor' into Google to come up with the following details for Trumpeter's UK distributor Pocketbond:

Tel: (+44) 01707 391509
