I was thinking about her the other day after running across the "LOOK" and "LIFE" photomagazines. The fact is I have figured out how to do both the ANDREA DORIA and the CHRISTOFORO COLUMBO !!! I discovered ,in storage two partially destroyed BRASIL models I acquired at a flea market a few years back. With good photos of the "DORIA" I have been able to reconstruct the deckhouses. Now the trick is to modify the hulls to conform.I will get er done though! Just thought I would clue you in to what the "MAD SHIPBUILDER " in me is up to!.I will let you know how it works. commodore 4

So how is this work turning out? Any progress to report, or pictures to share?

Although ANDREA DORIA never ranked very high with me in the good looking ships stakes, here is a basic General Arrangement plan that may be of use to you.

Anybody know if Amati will reissue the Doria as a kit like they did with the Titanic. The quality of the Amati Hachette news stand offering was quite good, but only offered in Italy.
