Im new here, so bear with me. I am not new to modeling, been doing it for about 30 something years but I build mainly armor but recently I have the urge to want to build a ship of some sort so I have been looking into the 1/35 scale Italeri Schnellboot. I dont see any issues with construction etc....but I do see one thing that has always scared me away from building a ship model--- THE RIGGING

Can anyone point me to some good references on how to do the rigging on both the S-38 and S-100, so far I have not been able to find anything. I look forward to any information/help if at all possible. I am doing a super detailing of both models like I do with my armor pieces, so I do need some information on the rigging....who knows this may led me to building nothing but ship models in the near future....

This question sound familiar from only a couple of months ago. Wartime S-Boots had no masts - therefore no rigging. There were antenna cables attached by turnbuckles to the rear of the foreward 20 mm's safety rail, attached to the antennae either side of the bridge, and terminate, again with turnbuckles, to the safety rail of the mid-ship twin 20 mm. (or whichever weapon is placed at this location). The cables are hard to see in most photos, unless they are close-ups.
