Love the scratchbuilding of he hull fittings, but your (painted/trompe l'oeil??) representation of the tiles is fantastic - I agree with Andy!
Would you mind sharing your technique with us? It may become useful when/if I will tackle a Typhoon...

Yep. Like that, looks good with that talent and that kit you want to try scratchbuilding the kilo with the pumpjet.

Very nicely done! Those little Hobby Boss kits are a great foundation for a quality model like yours. Like the others I love the finish.

For plating texture, i made a square mask from a mosquito net, laborious job, i think the result woth it, and mixed colors in the airbrush for diferent shades and finished with oils.

All tamiya paints, german grey, gloss black, hull red, matt red, clear orange, buff and oils for weathering.
