yep! may finally have the time to at least start it off! and its summer here so the sun is more than enough to hasten drying paints and all... i think i will go for the PF8 first; both 7 and 10 had helidecks and guntubs at the fantails to which data is still sparse carl...thanks again!!! :wave_1:

Carl sorry if I " hijacked " over here a project that rightfully belongs to your super thread- but came along with colleagues thus....

it will be PF8 or 9 as based on the fantail add ons- this was based on screen shots i saw in an old movie (The Boys Form Company C) where the PN Barnegats were extras in a couple of scenes. BTW the major structures are just dry fitted yet, so i can modify as needed as i go along the project... :smallsmile:

one thing that eats so much of the time ( and energy, eyesight too if you will) of making my Fleet are the darn masts of the small gunboats the ships i make have...jeez!!!

The small ones seem to always get their spotlight first... an LCU converted to a floating clinic of the Phil navy in the 80s and behind her....
