Really like the weathering. A lot of people think that ships don't deserve this kind of weathering but your color photo proves otherwise. Especially on these disposable freighters. Thanks for sharing your wonderful work.

Hello.

These are the latest pictures of the advanced of the Liberty Ship. It is almost finished, still me have a few points to review and especially the implementation of all cables for hoists and cranes.

On these latter I still have to study the doc not bad, because I can't see the principle of use of cranes and the links between them. In the photos, it is clear that there is one of the cables between the two arms of the same together. An arm can not do single handling. They are associated in pairs.

In addition I also do tests to find the good son to use according to each type of cable diameters.

Attached photos of the completed ship Liberty. It is the last ship of the dio. Phew Finally, I begin to saturate.

The tensioners on the masts were made with a wire from 0.1 mm in diameter. The bottom of tensioners come Board GMM.

For the production of cables and others, I used the son presented on the attached link: http://www.navymodeling.com/Foto2004_ac ... _cavi.html
Diameter 0.01 for antennas.
Diameter 0.03 for positioning of the masts of handling cables.
The diameter of 0.05 for the lifting cables.

The liberty will be presented at the end of unloading. On the photos two cables of are not in position because they will be finished when the final positioning of elements on the basis.

















































Now I'll attack vehicles and small characters.

I finalized the basis of Dio. The situation of the diorama is by time covered in the English channel on June 16, 1944. So, I went on a basis of grey with shades of green.

The shape of the sea is perfect for me. But I have my doubts about the grey shade. I will therefore keep this base and redo another which will more go green green. Meanwhile thank you for your feedback on the hue of the sea as it is in the pictures.

Item wise, BRILLIANT. On the water, I agree. I feel like the water, as it is, needs a little more green/blue hue to really bring the sea base to life.

Now, I started the vehicle. To put me in the bath, I attacked by the Sherman.

Photo cutout was designed by Jean Mahieux. A true marvel of delicacy and details (in short of lace). With a base like this, we have two left hands not out something of the ordinary.

Right, the product of the original Arsenal (scale 1/350) and left the same, but with the installed PE of John. But which foot.



I have mi a former figure to make the tank commander.















For the next I'll do jeeps.
