Hello,

Superb project that I am discovering and that I will follow with a lot of interest.

This is the big problem with ISW kits, except the hull and deck where almost all the details (because too many bubbles) have to be removed. For the rest of the parts, you have to redo everything in scratch.

But when there is no other kit available on the market, you have to use it.

With the arrival of 3D printers, this opens new approaches and makes things much easier.

Good luck for the rest of your assembly.

I wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year.

Friendly.
Alain.

Was wondering if your printed parts for AG-16 could be acquired still. Thanks Dan Banks. cyberdan510@gmail.com

Sorry Martin :pout:

The Utah along with a few other in progress builds have been consigned to the shelf of Shame and Despair for the time being. I had to move my workbench to another part of the house and there was an unfortunate accident involving an improperly secured shelf and a couple of other projects came down on top of the Utah. Lessen learned, first thing for any future builds is secure a display case to help reduce hazards and dust while in progress. I am in no way giving up on her, but after a couple of years, the wound is still too fresh to go on. I also look at it as a chance to upgrade my early gen 3D parts to higher quality and better accuracy, when the PTSD subsides.

Matt
