Hello.

I don't find the layout of the front of a typical gunboat "Acheron".

Any idea??

thank you

You do know that there was a full set of drawings of Acheron class gunboat published in a French magazine (possibly Modèle Réduit de Bateaux but I'm not sure)?

Love it. Ships from the late 1800's are so visually interesting. Impressive scratch job.

What are the two objects hanging from davits at the very stern? They look like automobile tires but it seems to be the wrong place for a "fender" and in 1885 the automobile tire has not yet been invented?

What a great subject!

The funny thing about it is that I finished painting mine just minutes before I checked the message board...

All the best!

Christian.
