I solemnly have to declare the following:

- love the build

- love to see you working on it!

And that is the truth and nothing else but the truth.

No progress at this time,Because we going through a period of heat wave ...38°C 100°F .For some of you, you will find that it's normal:-D
but for we this is really rare.....just to put my optivisor ,the sweat runs in my eyes
Difficult to work on my eight 37mm...It will be necessary to think about installing the air conditioning in my house
Paris becomes like the south of France :-D :-D
see you soon I hope quickly and in fresh
cheers
Nicolas

HI gentlemens

I just finished assembling my eight 37mm guns ..They are prototypes ,and for the moment I needed 1 hour for each
The final version will be less complicated.
During assembly

and completed

thank a lot Marijin :thumbs_up_1:
at the beginning of my project ,based on a plan find in the book of R.Dumas ,I realized two "bathtubs" Intended to receive two 37 mm AA gun.

Image

What should have given this in place

Image

nice but false ...indeed ,After thorough research ,these would be in sandbag ........So I pulled out my black milliput and And realize the protections

Image

once dry

Image

And the result more in line with reality

Image

indeed ,the French authorities in AOF (Afrique Occidental Française )had little means..for exemple ,A large part of the anti-aircraft armament, was recovered on wrecks after the British Attack......the famous French D system
the couple of 37 mm present on the hangar roof Does not escape the rule

Image

Image

I will put all this in paint , and attacked parallel the 13.2 mm quad, double, and simple
see you soon for the next progress

cheers
Nicolas

Outstanding - I love both the AA guns and the sandbags you made. The details make this model really pop!

HI gentlemen

With a little delay, the latest advances....
First, I was forced to rebuild cradles for the auxiliary boats

Image

Then, the remotes control for the 120 cm projectors

Image

Image

The device at the rear serves for the rotation of the "bathtubs"
And of course, the projectors of 120

Image

Image

Then these are the projectors of 60 cm and 35 cm scott

Image

Image

I had forgotten two position lights .... it's done now

[img]http://i.imgur.com/vZrhI8N.jpg[/img

again of range finders

Image

After painting and weathering

the projectors

Image

Image

the small projectors

Image

the remotes

Image

The position lights

Image

rangefinders

Image

And to finish the sandbag "walls"

Image

installation definitive manner all these elements is made
You can see the periscopes on the blockhouse roof and the rangefinder on that of the Wheel house

Image

the auxiliary boats are in place

Image

Image

the 120cm projectors also

Image

and the sandbag "walls"

Image

The deck, after all, begins to fill....The end is approaching
see you soon for the next progress :wave_1:
cheers
Nicolas
