Wow! I like this!

When I saw the photo taken from directly above the ship at the quays, I whistled like a bomb falling.

Complete battleship row in 1/700 ... I'm speechless about this colossal project in awesome quality! :-)

What an impressive and beautiful Pearl Harbor diorama.
That is certainly something to be proud of, well done!

I hope one day I may be able to create such an impressive display.

The water is not quite finished yet (basically nothing is on this dio). I still have to add a few more greens to it to lighten it up a bit and gloss it up to give it a bit more depth but bacially what you are looking at now is a "ton" of acrylic gel spread evenly with a very aggressive paint roller to give it that rippled effect and a base color or two.

Very impressive project & work!! Will you also add some 300 IJN aircraft? :heh:

I think I'll build the Jap counterpart one day, this is really inspirational!!

Truly amazing and looks so real with the water shimmering.

Many hours of fun working it all out.

Cheers Capt-P :good_one:

I'm rendered speechless over this. Nothing I can think to say could articulate how I feel about it. So I won't even try. I'll just keep staring at the pictures in silent amazement.

I'd love to do something like this one day. A buddy of mine had a grandfather who helped design many of the docks and berths at Pearl. The family still has some of his hand drawn sketches.

WOW! Thanks guys for all the kind words! Your comments are motivating me to work on it some more.
Yes, I do plan on populating it with figures, boat launches, and vehicles. I need to do a few more things to Ford Island between the ferry launch and USS Neosho before I start the populating process.
I'll start with USS Nevada and work my way down from there with the figures.
