Actually yes. It's been designed specially for this project. I use my friend's printing service. I don't know what they use but it looks very accurate for me. I can reach the 0.05mm level of details...

Very nice work you've done. Those searchlights.....wow. That's some detail on something so small!

That's impressive PE work. I was getting a little dizzy looking thinking about it as I looked.

Could you ask your friend what printer he is using? Those parts are the best 3D print part I've seen! Is he doing the service for friends, or other customers too? Maybe I could get access to his service as well when I need fine parts?

Thanks,
Aop

preparation for setting 127mm barrels from Master.

If you were to make a 1/350 set like this, I would be your first customer!

I corrected camo on 127mm units:

and main turrets ready:

Image

Midship cranes ready-

Image

and here I have small doubt. Should the top of crane's lattice be painted on deck blue (as horizontal surface) or should stay grey...? :help_1:

Image

admiral level and signal level ready

Image

Image

preliminary assembling of navigation and pilot levels...:

Image

catapult ready to get deck blue on top...:

Really nice progress you've got going there, Greg!

As for the crane, in all likelihood the entire thing was painted gray, since there's no real vertical covering, it's all just girders and framework.

Mind-blowing, amazing job.
I think all these detail parts will sell well if you make them available through Shelf Oddity.
