Mmm, those last pics are really small. Does anyone know how to get the pics to show up bigger?

Anyway, here is a link to the flickr account for now: https://www.flickr.com/photos/150725511 ... 376506587/

Cheers,

Marijn

For what it's worth, they're plenty big enough for me! But if you want them to span more width, how are you getting the URLs? Flickr's share function (see attached) allows for a number of sizes, so make sure you pick either the Large or Original sizes before copying and pasting the link.

You have the eyes of an artist with the hands of a surgeon and I'm in awe of the results. This is shaping up to be my favorite project of yours. Thanks for sharing.

Mike

Since all your Photobucket links are dead before Page 19 of this thread, do you have a link to whatever folders that may have contained them? It may be possible to access them that way. TIA

Many thanks everyone! :)

And sorry for the late reply; Christmas family visits had priority of course. :)

Great idea Mike!
Here is the link to the first page of the folder (there are 15 pages): http://s3.photobucket.com/user/marijn_v ... t=3&page=1

I'm honestly too lazy to upload all the pics again to Flickr and restore all the links of the entire thread, but if anyone has any specific requests I'm happy to oblige!

Merry christmas!

Marijn

I'm not so sure, but it would be fun it if it does. ;)

Very beautiful and subtle painterly painting...!

The model currently looks like a sci fi model-! :cool_2:

- but once placed into its water environment I think it will be transformed and the whole lot will make sense!!

:thumbs_up_1:

Stunning. This is one of those models that you can stand and stare at for hours and still find new details to look at. What a work of art!

I don't think so, because I made mistakes and sometimes made raw detailing.
This is my only second model from 2008 and second ship from 2003, so I still have a lot to learn

:) Thanks Jim! :wave_1: I have the same feeling! It looks weird now, and I hope it will make sense indeed in the water, but still look a bit special. One of the main reasons for choosing this subject is the unique position of the ship, enabling a 'different' looking composition. :)

Cheers,

Marijn
